Conveniently located between Sarasota and Tampa, Tara is one of the most popular country clubs in Bradenton. With seven sets of tees, ranging from 4,033 – 6,904 yards, players of all skill levels are able to enjoy time on this idyllic 18-hole golf course.

Our 120-acre, award-winning championship golf course has been built to USGA standards. It features a putting green, driving range, scenic conservation areas, and a state-of-the-art irrigation system.

Tara’s staff of PGA professionals is available to help golfers at all levels with golf lessons and clinics offered throughout the year. On-site technology including Flightscope, V1 & BodiTrak are also available to help you get your golf game in top shape.

Melissa is a PGA Class A Professional. Her mission is to teach the game of golf to every level of golfer. Golf has been a part of her life since birth, playing with her parents on a 9-hole facility in Maine. She played all her amateur golf in Maine, winning the Maine State Junior Championship in 1986.

Nate has always known playing golf was his calling as a young boy growing up in Colorado. To further his golfing career, he made the decision to move to Florida in 2022. When he has the opportunity, he plays in many local PGA tournaments. Nate is available for one-on-one golf lessons and teaching others has been one of the many perks he enjoys about golf.

Is Tara Golf & Country Club a public course?

No. Tara is a private golf club and a bundled community. This allows all members to enjoy all of the club’s amenities without having to pay separate greens fee, golf equity, or initiation fees. Membership is equity-owned and is attached to property deeds. When a home in the community is sold, membership remains with the property.

I’m not a golfer, will I still enjoy being a member of Tara Golf and Country Club?

Yes! Tara is one of the most well-rounded Bradenton country clubs. In addition to the golf course, members can enjoy a wide variety of sports and fitness amenities, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and steam room. Tara also offers an array of fun social activities and exceptional dining facilities.
