From birthday parties and baby showers to golf outings and weddings, the types gatherings you can host are virtually limitless. We are one of the area’s most active country club communities, and we are proud of it! Whether you want to participate in some of your favorite hobbies or learn something new, you can do it here. Our amenities include a community pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center. It features free weights, weight machines, and a range of cardio equipment.

For those who prefer to combine fitness and fun, we also offer group fitness classes and group sports. Sign up for a cardio class or try water aerobics, tennis, pickleball, line dancing, or water volleyball. If you would rather relax, you can find your Zen in our yoga studio or one of our meditation classes. We also offer bocce ball, lawn games, and golf and tennis tournaments.

Featuring seven sets of tees, the golf course at Tara is perfect for golfers of all skill levels. Whether you are an experienced golfer who wants to perfect their game or a novice who sees golf as more of a social activity, you will feel comfortable here.

Our award-winning championship golf course spans 120 acres and has been built to USGA standards. It also includes a driving range, putting green, state-of-the-art irrigation, and scenic conservation areas to reduce water usage.

Tara Golf & Country Club features a fully stocked golf shop with top-of-the-line equipment and attire. Throughout the year, we offer clinics and lessons to help you take your game to the next level. For those looking for help with their swing, we offer on-site, cutting-edge technology including the V1, Flightscope, and BodiTrak programs.

Looking for more help? Book a golf lesson with one of our on-staff PGA Class “A” professionals. Their hands-on, personal instruction will help improve your game and make it more enjoyable. You will learn expert on-course strategies and skills that you can use not only on the Tara course, but on any course you play.

Many of our community events feature palate-pleasing dinners and hors d’oeuvres created by our exceptional chefs. These lavish meals and fun gatherings are sure to be the highlight of your week.

All members of our country club community also have access to the Grille Room, our casual dining area. This space features a full-service bar that is ideal for enjoying happy hour. It is also an excellent option for grabbing a refreshing drink and a quick bite after a round of golf or other fun activity. This is a great way to socialize and get to know your neighbors and fellow club members.

When hosting events on our property, you will also have access to our many dining venues and incredible menus. Whether you are planning a large event in our main dining room or something more intimate in one of our multi-purpose rooms, we will always make sure you have an incredible experience.

We can offer everything from small dinners and hors d’oeuvres displays to formal, sit-down meals for up to 200 guests. Our expert event planners will work closely with you to ensure any event you host exceeds your expectations.

We also offer an outstanding Sunday brunch, which is open to the public, creating an opportunity to make new friends and meet potential new members.

Tara Golf & Country Club is a Common Interest Realty Association (CIRA). This means that all property owners are members of Tara Golf & Country Club, Inc. They also collectively own the common property including the private Country Club.

This arrangement, commonly known as a “bundled community,” allows owners to enjoy all of the club’s amenities with no separate golf equity, greens fees, or initiation fees. All members also have a say in approving major decisions. This fosters a strong sense of community and helps ensure that changes and updates are in our members’ best interests. Membership in the Tara Golf & Country Club Umbrella Association is required and transfers with a property when it is sold.
